Michael Thacker testifies before House committee about future of air taxis

Michael Thacker, executive vice president of Technology and Innovation at Bell, testified before the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology in Washington, D.C. about the future of air taxis. He expressed Bell’s excitement about the future of urban air transportation and asked for the committee’s support. Michael explained Bell’s focus of developing technologies that enable safe, quiet, efficient and affordable urban air operations at scale, by using small, heavily automated electric and hybrid vertical lift aircraft.
