KUAE Professor elected Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society

Saeed Farokhi, John E. & Winifred E. Sharp Professor of aerospace engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) was founded in 1866 and was originally known as The Aeronautical Society of Great Britain. The Society now has over 17,500 members and has become an international, multidisciplinary professional institution dedicated to the global aerospace community. As the world’s only professional body dedicated to the aerospace community, it exists to further the advancement of aeronautical art, science and engineering around the world.

His research interests focus on propulsion systems, flow control, renewable energy, and CFD.  Farokhi joined the KU Aerospace Engineering department in 1984.  Read more about Prof. Farokhi.
